Hollow Knight: Silksong is confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2, but not in the way you imagine
If you are one of those people who, at every game event, no matter the platform, still hope for news about the long-awaited Hollow Knight: Silksong, well... I have good news and bad news for you, because yes, the game appeared at today's event (02), Nintendo Direct, being confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2, in addition to the confirmation that it will be released in 2025, but it was shown for mere seconds, along with other third-party games that will arrive on the new Nintendo console.
It's worth remembering that Hollow Knight: Silksong appeared during the Xbox Series S|X reveal, being announced as a title participating in the Xbox Game Pass library, but apart from that moment, Microsoft has not made any further mention of the most anticipated metroidvania game in recent times.
Despite all the disbelief in its release this year, and even by the words of the studio Team Cherry, who does not officially confirm its announcement, a small update on the Steam page about the game has reignited players' excitement, but it is only the game's description on GeForce Now.
Do you still believe in the release of Hollow Knight: Silksong in 2025? Theoretically, the game will be released for PC (Windows, macOS, and Linux), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
