The publication of the acclaimed Hi-Fi RUSH has been transferred from Bethesda Softworks to KRAFTON, parent company of developer Tango Gameworks and owner of the intellectual property of the game since August 2024. The transition, which began on November 14, 2025, marks the end of a publishing partnership and consolidates KRAFTON's control over the rhythm-action title.

The change is not expected to affect gameplay, with KRAFTON ensuring that players will be able to "continue to enjoy Hi-Fi RUSH as before".

The key points of the transition are:

Start of Transition: November 14, 2025, at 9:00 AM (KST). Official operation and contents of digital stores (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store) will be gradually updated to reflect KRAFTON as the publisher.

In-Game Update: A patch is scheduled to be released on December 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM (KST), to update the game elements that reflect the change.

Despite the assurances, the transition has raised criticism for the potential inconvenience. KRAFTON warned that, until the patch is applied, the in-game Bethesda.net connection feature will be disabled, which may result in the display of certain error messages. The company asked for understanding and directed players to KRAFTON Customer Support in case of issues.

KRAFTON assured players that:

Player Data: All saved data, game progress, achievements, and other player information will remain intact.

Reinstallation: No need to reinstall the game.

Additional Content: Downloadable content, soundtracks, and purchases will remain available.

The customer support and management of future events will be handled by KRAFTON starting November 14, 2025.

The Hi-Fi RUSH had its publication transferred from Bethesda Softworks to KRAFTON on November 14, 2025. A patch will be released on December 4, 2025 to reflect the in-game change. KRAFTON ensures that saved data and gameplay will not be affected, although the Bethesda.net connection is temporarily disabled.
