Hell is Us will have a free demo next week.
The Nacon and Rogue Factor studio have announced that Hell is Us, the highly anticipated action slasher, will receive a free demo on August 12th. The demo will be available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with the official game release scheduled for September 4th.
The protagonist, Rémi, is portrayed by actor Elias Toufexis, known for his work as Adam Jensen in the Deus Ex series. The story takes place in a secluded country devastated by conflicts. The game invites players to explore past traumas and face the consequences of a mysterious calamity. According to the official description, "if war is the closest we come to hell on Earth, it's because humanity itself harbors the worst demons."
An earlier version of the demo had been released only for PC due to technical limitations, but Rogue Factor managed to overcome these obstacles. The new demo, arriving on consoles, will have superior performance, with the PC version running at 4K and 60 frames per second and the PS5 version also confirmed to support 60fps.
Details about the demo content have not been disclosed yet, but it is expected to cover the initial moments of Rémi's journey. The demo provides an opportunity for players to experience the game before the official release, scheduled for next month.
With the Hell is Us demo coming to all platforms, what do you expect to see to decide if it's worth buying the game?
