Play this new version of the classic
Atari and Orbit Studio released the game Haunted House for PC and consoles last Thursday (12). The title is a remake of the Atari classic.
The game features roguelite elements that make each match unique, and by freeing trapped characters, the player can play with them, expanding their possibilities.
In Haunted House, players take control of Lyn Graves, the precocious niece of legendary treasure hunter Zachary Graves. Lyn visits her uncle's mansion with her closest friends, only to discover that the house is infested with spirits and monsters who quickly capture and take her friends.
To free her uncle and her friends and capture all supernatural enemies, Lyn must find the broken pieces of a magical urn and assemble them again.
Through procedurally generated room layouts, transforming walls, unpredictable enemy placements, and unique ghostly encounters, Lyn must crawl, sneak, and run amidst hordes of eerie specters and ectoplasms to locate her friends and uncle. Each fragment of the urn is fiercely guarded by a bone-chilling boss.
With isometric 3D stealth gameplay, Lyn must think fast to overcome each challenge. When defeated by a shadowy specter, she returns to the entrance of the Haunted House and faces a new floor layout and enemy placement, ensuring each playthrough is unique.
Haunted House is available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
