Harold Halibut: Stop Motion-inspired Adventure will be released on April 16th
The adventure game Harold Halibut, inspired by stop-motion animations, will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on April 16, announced the developer Slow Bros. Subsequently, it will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at a later date, and will also be available via Xbox Game Pass.
A full playthrough of Harold Halibut will take about 12 hours to complete, while a completionist playthrough will take approximately 18 hours.
Harold Halibut is a hand-crafted narrative game about friendship and life on a spaceship the size of a city submerged in an alien ocean.
250 years have passed since your home — an ark-like spaceship — fled from an Earth on the brink of cold war to find a habitable planet to preserve the human race.
You are Harold, a young lab assistant to the ship's leading scientist, Jeanne Mareaux. While most of the ship's inhabitants have resigned themselves to living aboard the submerged vessel, Mareaux still tirelessly works to find a way for the ship to leave the planet and find a new, drier home.
But the strange, wonderful, and diverse people of FEDORA I keep Harold busy as well... Until a fateful encounter plunges Harold into a world no one could have imagined — and that may hold the key to Mareaux's relaunch plans.
Join Harold as he explores a vibrant retro-futuristic world in his quest for the true meaning of "home".
