Get to know Absolum, the new game from the Streets of Rage 4 studio

Published by Dotemu and developed by the studio Guard Crush, responsible for the amazing Streets of Rage 4, Absolum is announced, promising elements of a good beat 'em up, mixed with the roguelike genre, bringing enhancements to the characters and unique and incredible abilities.

The game's story takes place in Talamh, a world ruled with an iron fist by King Sol Azra, thanks to magical events that changed the planet's normal course. A rebel group joins forces to combat the dictatorial and enslaving regime of the ruler, planning to overthrow his majesty and bring peace back to the kingdom.

To defeat the magnanimous king, the first trailer revealed the presence of Galandra, a fast and strong swordswoman, as well as the dwarf Karl, who despite his stature, uses heavy blows and long-range attacks.

It is worth noting that two more characters will be revealed, but we already know that the game will feature a solo campaign, as well as the possibility of online and local co-op mode, as expected from a good fighting game.

Still without an official release date, Absolum will arrive in 2025.
