Something I find interesting to see are anime-style games, and when I say that, I don't just mean the cel shading style, but also games that use anime characteristics in their design, which in some cases look great, in others not so much.

With that, I want to show some very interesting games to explore, in case you are looking for this type of game.

MiSide

Being a late 2024 release, I couldn't leave it out, as it has been very successful in putting the player in captivity alongside a crazy anime girl who is making it difficult to escape from that place. The game features several cool interactions and if you want, Mods can make the game even cooler. Synopsis:

The story of MiSide takes place in an apartment. It starts with the player interacting with Mita, a character from a mobile game that the main character (MC) downloads from his smartphone. Players solve puzzles, explore the apartment, play, and discover hidden secrets in a tense and evolving environment.

Strinova

This game was also released in 2024, and if you wanted a story, maybe you should move on to the next item on the list, as here we have a hero shooter game full of cute anime girls, each with their own mechanics and maps. The game's uniqueness comes when we look at the graphic style, which imitates drawings. Taking advantage of this, the developers give the characters the ability to turn into a thin sheet of paper, which can be useful to dodge bullets, glide, stick to walls, and pass through very narrow openings that they naturally couldn't pass through.

The game doesn't exactly have a story but it's pretty cool, and worth checking out!

Infinity Nikki

Also released in 2024, this game will bring a more realistic style which makes the graphics beautiful. Here you will be a stylist alongside your faithful little friend, facing challenges to overcome in the midst of the game's main story. Here we have another gacha, so the more you spend, the better your experience will be. Synopsis:

Harnessing the power of Charm hidden in clothing, Nikki has the tools to overcome difficult trials. Explore the region freely and face cleverly designed puzzles and stages, as well as 3D platform areas.

Farlight 84

Another live service game, but this time a Battle Royale, here we will also have a hero shooter, but it also has its own peculiarities, such as a mechanic very similar to Pokémon, where you can find a little animal in the middle of the map.
