Some time ago we talked about the departure of Hideaki Itsuno from Capcom , where he directed some games in the Devil May Cry series and also the two games Dragon's Dogma. The talented director is now working on new projects!

A few months later, the pioneering developer confirmed that he was opening two new development offices in Japan under the LightSpeed Studios label of Tencent - both "dedicated to creating original AAA action game titles".

But Itsuno has now kicked off the new year with a provocative message to his fans and a call to arms for potential developers. "A new project has already started", he tweeted on New Year's Eve, along with a photo of him smiling at the studio. "We will do our best to announce it to everyone as soon as possible. We are also looking for people to join us in developing the game!"

"Joining LightSpeed Studios is an exciting new chapter for me," Itsuno said at the time of the studio announcement. "With LightSpeed's strong development capabilities and global network, I look forward to creating original AAA action game titles alongside the amazing team and building aesthetic and innovative experiences for the global gaming community. We welcome all talented and passionate game creators from around the world to join our vision."

It's great to know that Hideaki is already working on a new project, but now only the questions remain about the genre of the game and whether it will follow the styles of games he had been working on at Capcom . What's your opinion? Is he working on a new Hack n slash, or a new ARPG? Well, these questions will take some time to be answered!
