Free update for Starfield arrives with a new vehicle and new mission, check it out!

Starfield has reached the milestone of 15 million players since its launch, and as a result, some updates have been made to the game as a thank you to the players. Bethesda Softworks has brought some new features and improvements to the game, including a new ground vehicle and a new free mission.

Update 1.14.74 adds the newest ground vehicle, the Deimog, as a "special gift" to all players for reaching the milestone of 15 million, said Bethesda Softworks. Here is the official synopsis:

Built for speed and endurance, the Deimog features a fully enclosed cabin to keep you protected as you race through rugged landscapes. Its exceptional handling allows you to navigate even the toughest terrains with ease, while a powerful rocket launcher ensures you are prepared for any threat — whether hostile wildlife or enemy groups.

And the new mission is called The Perfect Recipe, made available to players for free "in the spirit of Thanksgiving".

The Perfect Recipe invites you on an exciting journey through the City of Akila, where the past and present collide in the hands of an unlikely dreamer. This character-driven mission line features Harbhajan, a talented mechanic with a hidden passion for culinary arts. When you stumble upon a dusty recipe book during your travels, you discover it belongs to Harbhajan — a once hopeful chef whose ambitions were set aside for a more practical life. Returning the recipes ignites a spark, reigniting old dreams of becoming a renowned chef in the galaxy. But is it too late for a second chance?

Nevertheless, it's good to see more content coming to the game, right after its first major expansion, Starfield: Shattered Space, which had a lukewarm reception from players, perhaps due to lack of resources.

Another interesting point is that some mission bugs have been fixed, along with the functionality that allows running the game with unlimited FPS on the Xbox Series X, a feature that has been requested since the game's launch.
