Final Fantasy XIV is coming to mobile!
Yes, Final Fantasy XIV is set to arrive on mobile, along with a remake that should rework the game mechanics and simplify everything for mobile. The MMORPG from Square Enix will come to mobile being developed by Light Speed Studios.
We will most likely have a smaller version of the game, as it would be a bit complicated to do a direct port of the game to mobile phones. Anyway, we already have a trailer about:
According to a post on the next game's website, FF14 mobile can essentially be thought of as a remake, divorced from the main game. Its controls, battles, and such will all be "optimized for mobile devices", although a blog post promises nine jobs, an arsenal system, 11 crafting and gathering classes, and the golden saucer.
Also, based on the current trailer, it seems to include only A Realm Reborn in its story content. In what form? Well, that remains to be seen. Will it be a trimmed-down version with smoothed edges, a reason to return to the Waking Sands? Or a faithful recreation of the only story that most veterans are less excited to recommend?
Let's wait and see the version arrive, as we don't have enough information to draw conclusions about the game, which should be interesting and even introduce the franchise to a new audience, as the mobile platform is quite vast and the game appealing to those looking for a new adventure to explore!
