FIFA 23's Women's World Cup 2023 Update is now available

32 official teams and the Tournament, Quick Match, and Lead the Team modes are included

Electronic Arts released the new free update for EA SPORTS FIFA 23 on Tuesday (27), adding the Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand 2023. There are 32 official teams featured, along with three game modes.

The three game modes include the familiar Tournament and Quick Match, as well as the new "Lead the Team" mode, which allows players to choose any participating player in the World Cup to control in their quest for the title of world champion. It is also possible to choose a custom avatar for this journey.

Nick Wlodyka, an executive at EA SPORTS FC, spoke about the team's enthusiasm for the new update.
 

"In our biggest-ever EA SPORTS FIFA Women's World Cup update, we are thrilled to celebrate the remarkable achievements of the teams competing in the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 and create an authentic gaming experience for players to lead their country to victory."

"Our commitment to women's football is paramount, and we are excited to evolve and fulfill this promise to our EA SPORTS FC community," added Wlodkyka.

FIFA 23 Predicts that the United States will be the champion of the Women's World Cup 2023

Similar to what was done for the Men's World Cup 2022, Electronic Arts revealed its prediction made in FIFA 23 for the Women's World Cup 2023, with the United States national team emerging as the champions.

FIFA 23 is available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
