Fallout 76 adds Ghouls and maybe in the future, Super Mutants!

Fallout 76 had a rocky start, but it's one of those game stories that has a terrible launch and slowly recaptures its audience. With Bethesda Game Studios continuing the game, it would certainly continue to receive updates and now, towards the end of the year, we have something unprecedented happening in the franchise, which is the possibility of becoming a Ghoul.

The chief producer of Fallout 76, Bill LaCoste, was asked by VG247 about the possibility of players one day becoming Super Mutants.

"I don't know," said the developer, "I mean, it kind of depends on how the ghoul plays and how much people enjoy playing as a ghoul. When you're talking about super mutants, that could also be something that is beyond my ability to speak to, in terms of direction and where we go with it."

The producer's statements show that the team is open to bringing this adventure, but of course, the latest update would need to go well with the community for more similar updates to happen.

'Ok, does it make sense for us to have anything else in this world that players can do?'
