Evil Empire calls players for alpha testing of the new roguelite Prince of Persia

The Evil Empire has issued a call for players interested in participating in the alpha test of their upcoming roguelite, The Rogue Prince of Persia. This 2D action platformer is set to arrive on Steam Early Access on May 14, and alpha testers will have the exclusive opportunity to try it out before the official release.

The French indie studio, known for their post-launch content work on Dead Cells over five years, approached Ubisoft with their own vision for the Prince of Persia universe. With the legendary title in mind, players will be able to master platforming sections using the iconic wall run, allowing them to traverse gaps, evade traps, and easily overcome enemies.

In addition to environmental challenges, players will face enemies ranging from magic-wielding Huns to corrupted creatures. With a wide selection of weapons including daggers, spears, broadswords, and axes, as well as secondary weapon options like shields, bows, and grappling hooks, combat promises to be dynamic and exciting for all playstyles.
