Early release of Hades II breaks player record on steam

The early release of Hades II is shaking up the gaming community, surpassing the record for simultaneous players of the first game on Steam. In just nine hours, the game reached a peak of 79,276 players, more than double the historical peak of 37,749 of the original Hades.

Hades original, initially exclusive to the Epic Games Store in 2018, arrived on Steam in 2019. Its peak of players on Steam was after the official release in September 2020.

The early release of Hades II marks the beginning of an exciting journey. The developer Supergiant Games plans to expand the story, introducing new characters and deepening existing relationships. These updates will culminate in version 1.0 of the game, which will include the conclusion of the story and final adjustments.
