Duckside: The duck survival game gets a new trailer and open beta in June
The publisher TinyBuild and the developer TinyBuild Riga have announced news about Duckside, a new survival game that stands out for featuring a duck as the main character.
Starting on June 6, 2024, players will be able to participate in a new open beta test on Steam. The previous beta, held earlier this year, was a success with over 150,000 sign-ups.
The next beta will include new buildings, map locations, plants, and various improvements based on community feedback. TinyBuild is committed to perfecting the game with the help of players.
The new trailer for Duckside features an exciting combination of PvP and PvE combat, crafting and base building systems, highlighting intense action and strategic gameplay.
Duckside promises to bring a new vision to the survival genre, popularized by games like DayZ and Rust. Players can face off against other flocks of ducks and AI-controlled humans, combining player-vs-player combat elements and environmental challenges. Additionally, the game features:
- Extensive crafting and base building systems allow players to create and customize their shelters.
- Duckside can be played solo or in teams, offering a cooperative experience as players fight, explore, and survive together.
Duckside will be released for PC, but the official release date has not been disclosed yet. With high expectations for its success, TinyBuild and TinyBuild Riga hope to deliver a unique experience in the survival genre.
