Dragons Dogma 2 may have multiplayer mode in development!
Dragons Dogma 2 was released this year, bringing a huge world and eager NPCs that made your processor eager along with them. Anyway, the game was wonderful and certainly pleased some of the fans of the first game.
This time, we have the possibility of receiving an online mode for Dragons Dogma, which can be great for the game's life, especially if more content is being prepared along with it!
A new datamine of Dragon's Dogma 2 allegedly revealed some interesting details about potential plans for the open world RPG. Although this information does not necessarily mean that significant updates are coming, they suggest that the developer was at least considering one or two surprising additions.
The main act here is the mention of multiplayer. Translating from Japanese, the file's text refers to something called 'New Moon Tower' as a specific multiplayer mode.
Of course, the original Dragon's Dogma and its sequel make use of their trademark Pawn system instead of co-op. Players can hire AI-controlled companions from other players, and they will learn specific combat tactics and mission solutions as they venture. As such, this newly discovered nod to multiplayer is a genuine surprise.
Of course, this is not exactly a certainty, as all of this could be cut content from the game, which could be a cold shower, especially because this type of datamine is complicated to read.
However, fans are already digging through the game files, which could bring us a lot of information in the near future!
