Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero: Surprise update arrives in the game!

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero was definitely one of the big releases of the year, with Bandai and Spike ChunSoft bringing back the good times of the Tenkaichi saga. However, even with the game being a success, we still have some performance issues, battles, and even bugs, which ends up being normal in any important game of this type.

The good news today is that Sparking Zero received a surprise update to solve some of the problems that have been reported by users, and bring some news!

The latest patch for the 3D arena fighter fixes a ton of broken mechanics and OP abilities that were ruining the game's ranked mode. Even more importantly, local multiplayer can finally be enjoyed in all stages of the game, addressing one of the biggest complaints at launch.

There are many things it changes, but some of the highlights are the nerfs to Afterimage and instant Sparking mode abilities, DP battles have limited health bar regeneration when a fighter is waiting, and local 1v1 multiplayer now allows you to select any stage, not just the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

The Afterimage nerf is significant. The ability doesn't last as long now and is canceled if your opponent uses Perception. While before it resulted in prolonged dodge battles, now it's easier to combat.

The instant Sparking mode is another big change: the new and increased Skills Count required to deploy them means players are less likely to be able to use Sparking mode consecutively.

DP battles where players enter with a list of fighters should also move faster and smoother, as the recovery rate for constantly switching them has been reduced.

The update has been well received and we hope to see more news coming to the game soon!
