If you're excited to discover the world of Assassin's Creed Shadows, which arrives on March 20 for Playstation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC, you can get even more excited to prepare for the game's first DLC, Claws of Awaji, which will be released in 2025.

During an interview with the website TheGame, Jonathan Dumont, the game's director, stated that the additional content will offer players not only a denser story, full of mysteries, but gameplay that will require more caution and fear to make any type of attack on enemies.

According to Dumont, enemies will be able to even deceive players with their movements and intentions when they perceive the presence of Naoe and Yasuke, which will undoubtedly bring something never seen before in the franchise. This content promises moments of tension for the ninja and samurai community.

Regarding the DLC's story, Dumont reveals that the duo will land on the island of Awaji after the conclusion of the main story and will be greeted by a new group of villains operating in the area. The intention is to create something darker and scarier than what is seen in the base game.

It is worth noting that the DLC will come as a bonus for those who pre-order the game.
