Discovery of domains can reveal new companies in GTA 6

Grand Theft Auto 6 continues the tradition of Rockstar creating fictional companies that satirize real-world brands. From Cluckin' Bell to iFruit, the series has always used parodies to bring its world to life. Now, a new discovery suggests that the universe of GTA 6 will be even denser, with the possible inclusion of new satirical brands.

A member of the Rockstar community, known as 'Tez2', revealed on the GTA Forums the discovery of eight domains, all registered on the same date and under the Take-Two name servers. The news author verified that all domains were registered on May 27th of this year, and updated on Monday, September 8th, which reinforces the possibility of them being related to the upcoming game.

The domains listed by Tez2 include: what-up.app, rideme.app, buckme.app, brianandbradley.com, leonidagov.org, wipeoutcornskin.com, myboyhasacreepycorndog.com, and hookers-galore.com. The first three seem to be parodies of major tech companies, like WhatsApp, Uber, or Lyft, and payment services like Cash App or Venmo. Other names, like brianandbradley.com, may be a reference to a law firm or to Brian Heder, the drug dealer in the story. Meanwhile, the domain leonidagov.org leaves little doubt about its connection to GTA 6.

However, Tez2's finding is speculative. The information has not been confirmed by Rockstar. The last three domains, with the double reference to the words "corn" and "galore," are "unusual," and may be used for spam pop-ups or something similar, as suggested in forums. The possibility that the domains may not be related to the game is real.

The findings, though unofficial, show the level of detail that developers put into their games. The release of Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled for next year.
