Death Stranding 2 will have a release date only next year!

We had the Tokyo Game Show 2024 and saw several new features coming from the event, many of them end up surprising more than expected, like the new trailers that were presented, especially talking about Death Stranding 2: On The Beach!

The main thing is that we still don't have a release date, Kojima is being as quiet as possible when it comes to this announcement that is so awaited, since seeing the trailers that Kojima has given us the opportunity to see so far, the game has a great possibility of competing against Grand Theft Auto 6 in terms of graphics and even as game of the year.

“I didn't announce the release date today, but it has already been decided, and we are preparing for it. There are different schedules for the release. As we are aiming for 2025, it will be released next year, and we will announce the exact date at some point next year. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, we cannot reveal it today. As I mentioned before, we are still working on the game — it is not ready yet — but I feel very good about it.”

Another interesting part of the event is that we had almost 20 minutes of gameplay from the game, which showed a photo mode, using the actresses from the game, which I found wonderful. Not to mention that more actors were announced to join the production, now being Elle Fanning (The Great and Maleficent) & Shioli Kutsun (Deadpool 2).

Kojima continues to choose his cast carefully and this is becoming more promising, and even without knowing the date, it is still great to know that the game already has a set date, at least in Kojima's mind, and that is quite relieving!
