Death Stranding 2 is 95% complete, reveals Hideo Kojima

With just a few months left until the highly anticipated release of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, creator and director Hideo Kojima revealed that the game's development is already 95% complete. The information was shared during the director's personal radio program, emphasizing that the title is almost ready to reach the hands of players on the PlayStation 5.

Kojima's confirmation comes at a strategic moment: Death Stranding 2 is set to be released on June 26, 2025, and the proximity of the date fuels expectations around what promises to be one of the most intense narrative experiences of the year.

"The game is 95% ready," said Hideo Kojima on the program. “Only the final adjustments are missing, and the team is focused on the last details to ensure that everything is perfect by the release.”

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is already available for pre-order, both in digital version via PlayStation Store and in the physical edition, with a suggested price of R$ 349.90. The sequel continues the journey of Sam Porter Bridges, played by Norman Reedus, on a mission that transcends the limits of the UCA (United Cities of America) and touches again on themes such as isolation, reconnection, and human survival in a post-apocalyptic world full of mysteries.

The game will also feature the return of iconic characters and promises new companions for the journey, as well as enhanced mechanics, new scenarios, and an even more cinematic approach, one of the trademarks of Kojima Productions.

Since its official announcement in 2022 during a Sony event, Death Stranding 2 has remained one of the most anticipated titles of the generation.
