Hideo Kojima celebrates another milestone in the game development, arriving in June

The development of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is advancing quickly! After finishing the recordings for the Japanese dubbing, Hideo Kojima announced that the audio mixing of the game has also been completed - and the celebration took place in great style, with a toast directly from London.

"It took three years of work to get here", highlighted Kojima on his social media.

With the mixing completed, the highly anticipated title enters the final stages of production, preparing for the polishing and final adjustments before its release on June 26, 2024.

Pre-order now available - and with a physical edition in Brazil

If you're someone who likes to display a game on the shelf, the good news is that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is already available for pre-order on Amazon Brazil. The game is priced at R$ 349 in the physical version for PlayStation 5, a platform where it will be exclusive at launch.

After the impact that Death Stranding (2019) had, bringing innovative gameplay focused on player connection and a story worthy of a sci-fi blockbuster, the sequel promises to further expand on this concept.

The ultimate "Kojimism" experience?

If there is a name that transcends the video game industry, that name is Hideo Kojima. Since his rise in the 80s, the legendary Japanese creator has revolutionized the way games are made and consumed. Metal Gear Solid (1998) set new standards for the stealth genre and cinematic narrative, while Death Stranding brought a unique and polarizing approach to the open world.

Now, at 60 years old, Kojima continues tirelessly, expanding his horizons and blending games, cinema, and art like few others in the market. And everything indicates that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach could be the ultimate experience of his design philosophy - or, as many call it, "Kojimism" in its purest form.

With highly enigmatic trailers, appearances by stars like Norman Reedus, Léa Seydoux, and Troy Baker, and surreal art direction, the game promises to take players on an even more intense and emotional journey.

With June approaching, the countdown has already begun. Will Kojima redefine games once again?
