Closed Beta from Neverness to Everness arrives on PC in July
The Hotta Studio and Perfect World Games announced that the global closed beta test of Neverness to Everness, called “Containment Test”, will be held from July 3, 2025, at 09h (UTC+8), until July 16, at 23h59 (UTC+8). This testing phase will be exclusive to the PC platform, not including mobile devices at this time.
Players interested in participating can pre-register through the official Containment Test page. Spaces are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Selected participants will receive a confirmation email granting access to the test. It is important to note that all progress made during the beta will be wiped at the end of the period, as this is a technical test, not a final version of the game.
The Containment Test will include support for multiple interface languages, such as English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. Additionally, the game will feature voiceovers in English, Japanese, and Chinese, aiming to provide an experience tailored to different regions.
Although the developers have not detailed the exact content of the beta, previous trailers of Neverness to Everness indicate that the game will feature an urban setting focused on exploration, supernatural elements, and life simulation. During the beta period, participants will have the opportunity to explore the city of Hethereau, interact with shops, drive customizable vehicles, and decorate their own apartments. The “Esper Cycle” combat system, which aims to create real-time synergies by combining characters' abilities, is one of the most anticipated aspects of the gameplay. More information can be found on the official game website.
