Clapperheads Announces Zoochosis: Indie Horror with Zoo Theme
A new and chilling chapter in the world of survival horror games is about to be revealed with the release of the indie game Zoochosis.
Developed by Clapperhead, Zoochosis promises a unique experience, combining simulation and horror elements in an unusual setting: a zoo.
In the game, players take on the role of a zookeeper who works the night shift. The plot unfolds when terrifying events begin to occur: the zoo animals are undergoing bizarre mutations, possibly due to an infection, transforming them into mutant creatures.
Inspired by the classic horror film "The Thing," the game brings suspense to the zoo environment, creating an intense atmosphere full of surprises.
While exploring the zoo, players will have the daunting task of monitoring the animals, using tools to detect possible infections, preparing meals, cleaning the enclosures, and facing infected creatures. The main objective is to find a cure and develop a vaccine before the animals fully transform into mutants.
Zoochosis promises a variety of mutant animals, including zebras, gorillas, hippos, giraffes, elephants, kangaroos, and more. Players must be prepared to face unique challenges as they try to save the zoo from imminent catastrophe.
Currently, the game is scheduled to be a single-player, with no announced multiplayer modes. However, Zoochosis offers multiple endings, with players' decisions shaping the course of the story and leading to different outcomes. This promises an engaging replayable experience for horror game lovers.
Zoochosis is scheduled to be released in the second quarter of 2024, offering players an immersive horror experience.
