After years of dedicated support to Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt RED finally closed this cycle, expressing contentment with the current state of the first-person RPG.

As previously revealed, CD Projekt RED is involved in two major projects: the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 4.

During a recent interview, Paweł Sasko from CD Projekt RED shared that most of the original game developers are now working on the Cyberpunk sequel, known as Project Orion. Sasko mentioned that some lead developers were allocated as per the needs of the ongoing project, aiming to preserve the original game's DNA.

Meanwhile, an undisclosed number of people have been transferred to the development of The Witcher 4, also known as Project Polaris. Both games are progressing at different paces, with Cyberpunk 2 still in the early stages of production, while The Witcher is advancing with a well-trained team.

It is expected that both Cyberpunk 2 and The Witcher 4 will be released exclusively on the next generation of consoles. Fans eagerly await more news about these highly anticipated titles from CD Projekt RED.
