Capcom finally reveals the release date of Pragmata
The long-awaited Pragmata, a new sci-fi action and adventure game from Capcom, had new details revealed during The Game Awards 2025, confirming that the development of the title is on track and with a release date set for April 24, 2026. Along with a demo to be played on Steam at this very moment.
Originally announced years ago and subject to various delays, Pragmata returned to the spotlight with more concrete information about its proposal. The game is set in a lunar installation in the near future, where the protagonist Hugh and the android Diana face a hostile artificial intelligence while trying to return to Earth, combining exploration, combat, and hacking mechanics in a unique experience for Capcom.
The presence of Pragmata on the TGA 2025 stage confirms Capcom's commitment to its new sci-fi IP, reinforcing that more details and possibly an official release date may be on the way. In addition, the game has already been classified in countries like Korea, signaling that an announcement of a release window could happen soon.
With a planned release for 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and now also on the Nintendo Switch 2, Pragmata should bring one of the most unique experiences of the year, mixing strategic action with engaging narrative and futuristic setting.
