Black Ops 6 and Warzone Receive Season 5 on August 7th

The Season 5 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone will be released on August 7th, bringing new Multiplayer maps, the Reckoning map for Zombies, and a new experience at Verdansk Stadium. The season continues the story of the Rogue Black Ops team in their hunt for the last infiltrators of the Pantheon.

In Multiplayer, Season 5 adds three new maps at launch: Runway, a chaotic area of a destroyed airport; Exchange, a small map set in an Avalon market; and the remaster of World Motor Dynasty (W.M.D.), returning as a luxury car manufacturer. Mid-season, the Jackpot map, inspired by Black Ops 4, will be added. New game modes include the new Aim High, where headshots result in instant eliminations, and the return of Snipers Only and Cranked Moshpit.

The Zombies experience reaches its final chapter with the new Reckoning map, set in the Janus Towers. Players will face new threats, such as the Uber Klaus, a robot with super strength, and the Kommando Klaus units. The new Wonder Weapon, Gorgofex, and the Field Upgrade Mister Peeks will also be available.

In Warzone, the Abyss Protocol has been activated, revealing a secret military base within the National Acropolis Arena. A new contract, Satellite Hijack, will allow players to blow up the stadium. A new LTM, Stadium Resurgence, will also be released during the season.

New weapons, such as the PML 5.56 LMG and the ABR A1 Assault Rifle, can be unlocked in the Battle Pass. The Season 5 Battle Pass will offer over 110 items, including the operator Stogie Sims and the blueprint Infernous for the Kilo 141 Assault Rifle. The BlackCell will also be available for a premium upgrade.

Season 5 will be a large-scale release, focusing on all aspects of Black Ops 6 and Warzone. The release is scheduled for August 7th and Black Ops 6 is already available for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
