Battlefield 6 will have a Free Week from November 25th to December 2nd
Electronic Arts (EA) announced that Battlefield 6, officially released on October 10, will have a Free Week event next week. The game, which managed to "rescue" the "old glory" of the legendary Battlefield franchise and served as the basis for the spin-off Free-To-Play Battlefield REDSEC, will be available for free trial on all platforms from November 25 to December 02.
Players will have seven days to check out the title. However, EA specified that the "test-drive" will not be complete, as only some maps and game modes will be accessible. Despite the limitation, the free period should be enough for interested parties to feel the potential of the First-Person Shooter (FPS).
The free gameplay will occur with the title in its "best form", as the game recently received a major update. Many of the technical issues that have been hindering the experience since its debut have been eliminated. For those who were thinking of buying the game, the Free Week is an opportunity to verify, in practice, if the investment will be worth it.
Developers have informed that they will release a special post to detail all the information related to the free experience.
With the success of Battlefield 6 in restoring the good reputation of the series, will this free initiative from EA be able to convert new players from Battlefield REDSEC to the premium title?
