Partnership with Circular Brain ensures reverse logistics for proper product disposal

Avell, a Brazilian high-performance notebook company, has been complying with all environmental legislation since 2022.

As a result, the brand announces that it is now one of the first in the market to offer free national environmental reverse logistics to its customers. This service allows customers to ensure the proper disposal of their products when needed.

In partnership with Circular Brain, Avell now offers this service in all municipalities in Brazil. To request the service, customers can access the Avell website and click on the "Reverse Logistics" link.

Upon registration, customers can provide product details and generate a free return label. Currently, there are over 11,500 drop-off points nationwide, including post offices and small retailers.

By correctly disposing of broken or used products at designated locations, Avell ensures that all materials are disassembled and recycled, reintegrating them into the production chain as raw materials. This process saves natural resources, energy, and reduces CO2 emissions.

The estimated collection for the next 5 years is approximately 10 tons of electronic waste and 18 tons of packaging materials. This is equivalent to 14,868 kg of CO2 in the atmosphere, which can generate 62,200 MWh of energy or the planting of 3,400 trees.

All products will be processed by licensed companies with full traceability and compliance with the technical standards of ABNT 16.156:2013. Automatic environmental documentation will be issued through the Ministry of the Environment system to ensure the proper disposal of all processed materials.

"We are very pleased that Avell is one of the first Brazilian manufacturers to offer this type of service to its customers. We understand the importance of responsible disposal and how it affects our environment, which is why we have made it a point to offer return points in over 5,000 municipalities since 2022, surpassing the 400 required by legislation. This is a commitment that Avell has to nature in order to reduce CO2 emissions," says Emerson, CEO of Avell.
