The need to resort to microtransactions and paid expansions to capitalize on momentary interest raises questions about the organic longevity of the game without the constant support of cinematic marketing. Ubisoft's server infrastructure demonstrated stability during the increase in traffic, but the late success highlights the initial difficulties in retaining the project.
