Astro Bot receives new levels and Time Attack mode with online rankings

Free update starts today and brings new challenges

The Team Asobi kicked off 2025 with great news for Astro Bot fans. Starting today, the game will receive new free content, including five new levels in the Vicious Void Galaxy and a Time Attack mode with online rankings. Additionally, PlayStation 5 Pro players will be able to enjoy an optimized version of the game, maintaining the best possible resolution at a constant 60 FPS.
 

Five new levels coming weekly

The first of the new challenges, Tick-Tock Shock, is already available, and the others will be released weekly until mid-March. Check out the complete schedule:

• February 13 - Tick-Tock Shock
• February 20 - Thrust or Bust
• February 27 - Cock-A-Doodle-Doom
• March 6 - Hard to Bear
• March 13 - Armored Hardcore
   

Each of these levels will bring a Special Bot to rescue and can be played in the new Time Attack mode, which will feature online rankings to challenge players worldwide. It's worth noting that to access this new expansion, you must have completed the main game.

The content will be available every day at 6am PT / 2pm GMT / 10pm JST.

More challenge for players

Unlike the last update, Winter Wonder, which brought a calmer Christmas atmosphere, the new levels of the Vicious Void Galaxy were designed to test players' skills in more intense challenges. Those who thought they already mastered Astro Bot's jumps and acrobatics should prepare for a true test of precision and reflexes.

Additionally, players who own a PS5 Pro will be able to experience an even more refined version of the game, ensuring enhanced resolution without compromising the smoothness of 60 FPS.
