Bandai Namco detailed the upcoming content planned for Tekken 8, revealing the schedule of the second character pass and confirming the return of two veteran fighters. Fahkumram will be the first to arrive, with a release set for July 7, 2025, while Armor King will be included in the roster in the fall (between September and December), with no specific date at the moment.

Fahkumram, who made his debut in Tekken 7, is a Thai fighter specializing in Muay Thai, characterized by his brute strength and high reach. He returns with renewed moves, adapted to the new combat system of Tekken 8, which includes the Heat System - responsible for making the pace of fights more aggressive and offensive. The character will maintain his heavy grappler characteristics, with zoning attacks and high-impact mix-ups.

As for Armor King, the adoptive brother of King and a constant presence since the days of Tekken 2, he was confirmed as the third addition to the current Character Pass. The masked wrestler is known for his hybrid style of wrestling with punishing attacks and lethal counters. His presence reinforces the nostalgic appeal of the franchise, maintaining a balance between veterans and new faces. Like other characters in the pass, he will be available as paid content.

In addition to the fighters, Bandai Namco revealed that the game will receive a new story chapter titled "Forgotten Echoes" on September 30, 2025. The additional narrative content promises to expand on the motivations of the main characters and provide more context to the events of the Mishima Zaibatsu and G Corporation, central lines of the plot.

"We are committed to offering continuous content to keep Tekken 8 relevant and competitive, for both casual players and the professional scene," stated the development team in an official note.

Since its launch in January 2024, Tekken 8 has received regular updates focusing on balancing, bug fixes, and improvements to the user interface. The first Character Pass had already introduced Eddy Gordo in April, followed by matchmaking adjustments and new alternate costumes.

The game is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam), using the Unreal Engine 5 to deliver detailed visuals and smooth animations. There is no information yet on the fourth character of the current pass, but more details are likely to be revealed during the upcoming Tekken World Tour tournaments.
