Alien: Isolation 2 has finally had its continuation revealed!
Alien: Isolation was released a decade ago and until yesterday we had no idea how it could continue. The game, even though it is a decade old, brought something that few games managed to do when they used the Stalker mechanic, certainly bringing a more intelligent pursuer enemy. The best part is that a whole decade has passed and maybe the game's AI can revolutionize again!
Al Hope, the game's creative director, appeared 10 years later to say that he heard the cries of fans who were waiting for something, and yes, the game is already being developed, but we don't have many details yet, just Hope's statement.
"Today, I am joyfully confirming, on behalf of the team, that the sequel to Alien: Isolation is in the early stages of development. We can't wait to share more details with you when we are ready."
The creative director also makes it clear that the focus is to work on a game that has the authenticity of the Alien franchise, which was successful inside and outside of cinemas.
"It has been amazing to witness your passion for the game over the years and see it reach so many players worldwide. Your boundless enthusiasm, your excitement, your screams (!) and your unwavering courage in the face of cinema's greatest killer have been deeply rewarding."
It's great to know that the game will be back, this is very surprising, since the game did not have the sales numbers that Sega expected at the time, even saying that the sales numbers were weak. However, the game is still being developed and it may possibly bring surprising features that could once again create a new trend, perhaps!
