‘Agreement’ Struggles to Survive: Sales Below 20 Thousand Copies and Minimal Revenues at Its Launch

The long-awaited Hero Shooter Concord was officially released on August 23rd for PC and PS5, but unfortunately it did not have the expected impact. From the start, the game was labeled as generic and full of questionable design choices by players, which quickly reflected in its market performance. Now, experts have revealed numbers that highlight the weak performance of the title.

According to estimates, Concord sold less than 20 thousand copies on Steam, generating a revenue of less than US$ 1 million. And considering that this is a big bet from Sony, the result is, without a doubt, disappointing. Furthermore, the game reached a modest peak of only 697 simultaneous players on Valve's platform and obtained a 69% positive review rate so far.

Although the title is recording slightly better numbers on the PlayStation Store, it is still far from being considered a success on the PS5. In other words, Concord's release failed to capture the shooter game audience as expected.

Now, it remains to be seen what the next steps will be for Sony and Firewalk Studios. Will the game receive updates to improve its reception or will it just be another forgotten name on the list of releases below expectations?
