After the anti-cheat is launched, GTA Online suffers from DDoS attacks!

A few days ago we had the announcement that GTA V would be receiving the anti-cheat BattlEye, which would bring a certain layer of protection to the game on PC, which has always been messy due to hackers. The same happens with Red Dead Redemption 2, where Rockstar doesn't really have control over it.

After the anti-cheat was released, we had some news that didn't please some fans, not only modders were dissatisfied, as it was now difficult to modify even the campaign mode of the game, and the game also became unsupported by weaker hardware. Not to mention that now GTA Online no longer works on the Steam Deck because of the Anti-cheat.

Obviously Rockstar would suffer retaliation for this, which brings us to last weekend, where the online games of Rockstar suffered DDoS attacks and many users couldn't even log into the game.

This attack greatly complicated the connection, and as reported by "Cyberinsider", the hacker group that carried out the attacks claims to have done so as a protest against BattleEye, which is indeed a pretty bad Anti-cheat that is being integrated into other games, showing it makes no difference at all.

One of the users of X, named "@morsmutual_" said that new attacks may occur in the coming weeks, so if I were you, I would avoid playing the game online for some time!
