After Silent Hill 2, Bloober Team announces new games coming!

Silent Hill 2 Remake was certainly one of the highlights of this year and Bloober Team is moving towards its new projects, of different sizes, which can be quite surprising, coming from the horror game developer.

Of course, we don't have much information yet, and the only game that has actually been revealed to us is Cronos: The New Dawn, which already has a chilling trailer and beautiful graphics. I just wish I could understand a little more about the story...

The studio behind The Medium and Layers of Fear is already well known for its survival horror games, and we can expect even more from them in the coming years. Now, according to the game director and designer at Bloober Team, Wojciech Piejko, one of these games is on the way.

"Within Bloober Team, we have two production teams. Both teams operate independently, however, the entire team is sharing the experience of working on previous projects like The Medium, Observer, Layers of Fear, Silent Hill 2, Blair Witch, etc.," Piejko explains in an interview with MP1st. "And all I can say today is that after completing work on Silent Hill 2, the team will conduct pre-production work on a new project."

Even though we don't have many details, we can speculate on what might be coming, since the developer has signed a contract to receive the rights from Skybound Entertainment, which if you don't know, is the company founded by comic book author Robert Kirkman, who brought to life the stories of The Walking Dead and Invincible, which I don't need to say much about.

So far we know that one of the games in development should work with the IPs of Skybound Interactive, being named "Project R."

Then there's Project M, in which Bloober Team is working on "cooperation with the best game creators in the world for Nintendo platforms." This game will be "significantly smaller" than the developer's other games, although little else is known about the project at this time. Project M was originally being developed by the studio Draw Distance of Serial Cleaners, but earlier this year Bloober Team revealed that they were terminating that contract and doing something else with the game.

As for what some of the developers behind Silent Hill 2 Remake from Bloober Team are doing, besides this secret project, Piejko says they are moving on to another game announced by the studio, Cronos: The New Dawn.

"I am very proud of what the audio team achieved in Silent Hill 2 Remake and I can confirm that the same team is now working on Cronos and we can't wait to share more about Cronos' sound in the future."
