After complaints, Space Marine 2 reverses the nerfs, and the game becomes fun again!

As a result, the Space Marine 2 community, which was born a few months ago with the release of the new game from Saber Interactive, learned from Helldivers 2 about their rights in the gaming world and did the same, giving negative reviews to Space Marine 2, after senseless Nerfs, making the game even more difficult, even though the game's focus is not on PVP, but on cooperative play, just like Helldivers 2.

Anyway, the review bombing worked and Saber Interactive has already reversed the changes in the game!

In the notes of Patch 4.1, the developer explains their reasoning for the previous changes and details the reversal. Mainly, the enemy spawn rate has been reduced. But armor has also been increased in "cruel" difficulty, damage has been increased for bolt-action weapons, and AI soldiers will now do much more damage to bosses. On top of all that, the "compact formation" modifier that made it difficult for players to stray from their cooperative companions to shoot alone has been completely removed. A significant bug that made the rolling distance shorter has also been eliminated.

"Your feedback made it clear that the game has become more intense and stressful on lower difficulties, and that was never our intention," said game director Dmitriy Grigorenko in a message to players. "As I personally emphasized in interviews, Space Marine 2 is all about the power fantasy, and Patch 4.0 negatively impacted that for many of you. That's why we are reverting these changes.

"The main lesson for me, personally, is that I forgot that once the game is released, it is no longer a developer's game. It's yours above all."
