After being launched, Fortnite's Ballistic Mode has a problem with queues!
Fortnite is once again having a wave of content coming to the game, one of them is the Ballistic mode, a 5v5 first-person mode that takes the idea of Valorant and Counter Strike and brings a new experience to the battle royale, just like the game has been doing for a long time!
The early access release for Fortnite Ballistic arrived this morning, but almost immediately encountered matchmaking issues, possibly due to demand.
When Fortnite Ballistic is up and running again, players will be able to dive into 5v5 battles with teams divided between attackers and defenders. Attackers have the task of detonating a Rift Point Device bomb, which defenders must disarm by any means necessary. If the bomb explodes, the attacking team wins. And in this mode, there are no respawns. Players who are killed will shatter into small pieces until the next round begins. Each round can also end before the bomb is neutralized or detonated if an entire team is eliminated. Players will switch sides after six rounds, and the first team to win seven rounds wins the match. Ranked and unranked game options are available.
For now, Skyline 10 is the only map available in Fortnite Ballistic, with more to come in the future. Pickaxes, condensation trails, instruments, vehicles, and jam trails are not supported in this mode. However, players can use proximity mines, bubble shields, reconnaissance grenades, fragmentation grenades, and impulse grenades.
The idea is for the mode to be more tactical and paced, which could be a hit with the upcoming maps released for the mode!
