After a brief silence, Ghost of Yotei receives expected news by fans

Although Ghost of Yotei is probably the big game for Playstation 5 in 2025, since Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet won't arrive before 2026 and Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is a temporary exclusive, few informations have been disclosed beyond its reveal in September of last year.

Just like a true and silent samurai, the game's developer studio, Sucker Punch Productions updated the title's page with new information, such as its story taking place in 1603, that is, 300 years after Ghost of Tsushima, which means that the legendary Jin Sakai may only appear in flashbacks.

Not only that, but as one of the great novelties of Ghost of Yotei, the protagonist Atsu will be able to wield two types of swords, a skill that Jin Sakai couldn't execute. In addition, other new and traditional weapons from Feudal Japan were confirmed in the game: Odachi - Long sword; kusarigama: Sickle with chain attached to a long handle.

"Full of fury and determination, Atsu will hunt down those responsible for the death of her family and exact her revenge. Each job and reward will provide the currency she needs for her journey. But how she fights, survives, and evolves the legend of the Ghost will depend on you."

Being a direct sequel, Ghost of Yotei is set to arrive in 2025 exclusively for Playstation 5.
