Haley Joel Osment, is the actor who voices Sora in Kingdom Hearts, already having 20 years in the role, which surely must create a good connection with the character, since they have so much time together.

However, it has been a while since the franchise had any news and we don't know exactly where it should go in the next few years, we only know that we will indeed have a Kingdom Hearts 4, and that it will lead the series to its end. Information given by the Square Enix themselves!

However, in the midst of an interview, Haley Joel Osment said that he didn't know about a continuation, since his work would be the last part in the creation process, which makes him "the last to know."

At the same time, IGN asked him about Square Enix's statements about the game coming to an end, with the next game and how he would react, in case he needs to say goodbye to Sora.

"You know, I'm sure [Nomura] has great plans to end it in a satisfying way. And I think sometimes that's the best thing to do, even if you have something you love and feel like you want to play forever, tying it up in a cool way and not letting it drag on beyond where the creator wants it to go. I think that's the way to go. And clearly there are many, many hours of gameplay for people to come back and revisit."

It's really hard to say goodbye to such an important franchise, but Osment is not wrong at all. The franchise managed to stay alive and ensured that much of what was done can still be played, and surely it will close its cycle in the best way!
