A new trailer of Gex Trilogy has been released
The classic platform game series is back! The Gex Trilogy will be released by Limited Run Games and will feature all three original console games starring the anthropomorphic gecko Gex. Although the collection does not have a specific release date yet, the trailer confirms that pre-orders will begin in the fall of 2024.
The package will contain the following classics:
- Gex (1995): The game that started the series, featuring Gex on his mission to save the world of Media Dimension.
- Gex: Enter the Gecko (1998): Gex returns in a 3D adventure, introducing new moves and environments inspired by TV shows and movies.
- Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko (1999): The third entry in the series, with Gex once again facing the villain Rez in a variety of themed worlds.
The trilogy will be available on various platforms: Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Gex will be brought to modern hardware using the Carbon Engine from Limited Run Games, a development tool that facilitates the creation of ports based on emulation of classic games.
