2XKO has active servers, but Riot offers access to offline mode
The 2XKO fighting game is officially in Early Access, and its servers remain online. However, Riot Games has confirmed that some players are having trouble getting past the login screen. The positive side of the news is the immediate response from Riot and the alternative solution available to the community.
Riot confirmed on platform X that they are actively working to fix the issues causing the error code '2XKO-2001 - Failed to log-in'. Despite this connection problem affecting some users, some players have managed to work around the error by trying to log in multiple times. The Riot Client has also been displaying the error message for those trying to access the platform.
The main benefit for players is the existence of the offline mode of 2XKO, which provides full access to the training mode and local multiplayer when there are server issues. Playing offline ensures that users have access to all 2XKO characters, as well as any cosmetics that have been unlocked.
To access the offline mode of 2XKO, players must follow a few simple steps:
Navigate to the 2XKO folder (the directory should have the structure: 'C:\Riot Games\2XKO\Live').
Within the folder, locate the file named 'OfflineLauncher.exe'.
Open the executable file to start the offline mode of 2XKO.
Although the server status is online, the error code '2XKO-2001 - Failed to log-in' is the point of criticism that Riot Games needs to address. The failure prevents immediate and direct access to the online competition in Early Access. Riot continues to develop the fighting game and offers the offline mode as a robust solution so that players can continue practicing their combos and using all the characters and cosmetics of the game.
