Wreckfest Waves the Starting Flag on Season 2 Today

Wreckfest barges its way into a second season, complete with new tracks, tournaments, and a 12-pack slate of new cars for you to tear to pieces.

Bugbear’s Wreckfest is one of the more fun racing games on the market. It pairs damage that actually matters and wacky cars to build a great recreation of demolition derbies and banger racing. The game has consistently churned out new content since release and it’s not stopping any time soon.

Wreckfest Season 2 includes new free tracks, a selection of tournament challenges, and a new slate of DLC cars. While some of it comes to all players, you will have to drop some cash for the new cars, but it’s probably worth it. The full season pass comes with 12 new cars with three available on day one in the Getaway Car Pack. You’ll grab some classic American muscle, a high-speed tuner, and a repurposed cop car. Who knows where they’ll go next?

Outside of the paid cars, everyone gets to enjoy the new track and tournament. And, if you can race your way to the top of the scrap heap you’ll be greeted by several new rewards. Plus, there are tons of bug fixes and updates to make your demolition derbies feel even better.

Wreckfest is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. As far as I know, Bugbear hasn’t said anything about next-gen ports. That said, considering they’re continuing support with a second season, it would be shocking to not see Wreckfest on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
