Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World Brings Classic Platforming to PS4 on 28th May

Physical and digital releases coming.

The Wonder Boy franchise has had a new lease of life over the last few years, and that trend continues with the next effort coming from ININ Games. Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World is a reimagining of Mega Drive title Monster World IV, coming to PlayStation 4.

The game is a pretty traditional side-scrolling platformer, with the series' key feature of transforming into various animal forms to solve puzzles and clear each stage. The publisher has just announced a release date of 28th May 2021, so it's just a few short weeks away. You'll be able to buy it physically or digitally, too.
