Valheim is Xbox exclusive for 6 months

Coffee Stain Studios and Iron Gate Studios announced that Valheim is now available on Xbox consoles in preview, allowing Xbox Game Pass subscribers to enjoy one of the biggest PC hits of recent years.
Microsoft has sent an email to subscribers to inform them of the availability of access to the game and that Valheim will be a timed Xbox exclusive on consoles for 6 months.
While Xbox's timed exclusivity might raise expectations, it doesn't automatically confirm that Valheim will be available on other consoles, such as Nintendo Switch or PlayStation, in the second half of 2023.
Valheim is an open-world survival game with a viking theme that became a huge success after launching in early access in early 2021. Iron Gate Studios engineer Jonathan Smårs recently responded that the publisher only traded the Xbox version and that it cannot guarantee that the game will also come to PlayStation.
