Ubisoft made a significant announcement this past Tuesday (22), revealing the signing of an agreement that will grant them cloud streaming rights for a series of popular games, including the renowned Call of Duty series, following the completion of Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard.

This agreement encompasses the full list of current Activision Blizzard titles, as well as all their upcoming releases for the next 15 years following the closure of Microsoft's acquisition.

The games will be made available on the Ubisoft+ service, allowing subscribers to enjoy both Ubisoft's favorite titles and the iconic games from Activision Blizzard. This offering will be accessible on various platforms, including PCs, Xbox consoles, Amazon Luna, and through Ubisoft+ Classics on the PlayStation platform.

Chris Early, Ubisoft's Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development, expressed the company's commitment:

"Over the past 15 years, we have built and enhanced our ecosystem of services and online distribution into one of the most comprehensive in the industry. Today's agreement gives players even more opportunities to access and enjoy some of the biggest brands in gaming."

The agreement between Ubisoft and Activision Blizzard not only expands Ubisoft's presence in the game streaming market but also reflects a growing trend in the gaming industry towards flexible and democratized access to high-quality titles through cloud streaming platforms.
