Ubisoft has officially announced that the third season of Year 8 for Rainbow Six Siege will be launched on August 29th.
This new phase, named Operation Heavy Mettle, brings exciting additions to the game, including a new South Korean operator, a revolutionary recommendation system, and significant gameplay improvements and toxicity combat.
Introducing the South Korean operator Ram, the game also brings a new recommendation system and gameplay enhancements. Ram arrives with an automated tank that destroys elements of the environment, offering tactical advantages.
The Recommendation System allows players to rate others, with rewards for those highly recommended. Changes in game modes include a more agile Quick Match, and the Standard mode without operators.
Other updates include character balancing and weapon improvements. The season also features tutorials for newcomers and provides features to capture highlight moments.
Rainbow Six Siege is available on various platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and PC.
