Yes, the French publisher has something lined up for Gamescom, taking place between 24th and 28th August. So, what games could possibly be put in the spotlight? Well, we know that Assassin's Creed is getting its very own digital event in September, so we can probably rule that out.
There are quite a few other possibilities, though. Skull & Bones has received a few age ratings, so it feels as though we're on the verge of learning a lot more about the multiplayer pirate title. Another game Ubisoft plans to release in the next nine months or so is Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. A little further afield, we might learn more about Project Q — a team battle arena title that leaked a while ago — and, hey, maybe the publisher will even have something solid on Beyond Good & Evil 2.
Earlier in the year, a big report seemingly leaked a whole bunch of Ubisoft games in the works, like The Crew 3, a sequel to Immortals Fenyx Rising, a new 2D Prince of Persia, and more. While we're doubtful we'll be treated to absolutely everything at Gamescom, it does look like the publisher has a lot bubbling away right now.
What do you want to see from Ubisoft at Gamescom this year?
