The online servers for Forza Horizon 1 and 2 will be shut down in August

Online features of the game will no longer work

The official support account for the Forza Horizon and Forza Motorsport franchises announced on Twitter that Forza Horizon 1, released in 2012, and Forza Horizon 2, released in 2014, will have their servers shut down on August 22, 2023. With the server closure, it will no longer be possible to access the online features of these games.

The announcement states that this decision will allow the team to focus on the latest games. The announcement also expresses gratitude for the community's support.

Despite the server shutdown, those who own the titles will still be able to play them; however, online features such as multiplayer mode, online rankings, and other similar functions will no longer be available.
