The Muppets’ Swedish Chef available now in Overcooked: All You Can Eat
The Swedish Chef wins big at The Game Awards
Overcooked: All You Can Eat has a new cook in the kitchen tonight, as The Muppets’ Swedish Chef joins the roster. However, his signature chicken friends are nowhere to be seen.
At the 2020 Game Awards, the beloved Swedish Chef appeared in a video, accepting a Game Award Trophy made of tin foil. After some on-stage confusion, Game Awards host Geoff Keighley revealed that the Swedish Chef now has his own custom skin in Overcooked: All You Can Eat.
Overcooked: All You Can Eat is the next-gen version of both Overcooked and Overcooked 2. The package includes both games and all their DLC. There are also some new levels and chefs, exclusive to the All You Can Eat version.
The Swedish Chef joins a variety of human and animal chefs as a free, limited time download for all Overcooked: All You Can Eat players. Based on the trailer, it doesn’t look like the Swedish Chef adds any unique voice lines or animations. But the new character does have the Swedish Chef’s signature outfit, eyebrows, and mustache — what more could a Muppet fan want?
